Sun. March 14th: Supporters of Citizen’s Community Television, notably Channel 54 in Louisville, can have a great night of music and support this worthy cause. Channel 54 has brought many local musicians into your homes and provided those bands with excellent video to promote themselves. But it’s not done for free and they need your support. This Sunday, at the American Legion Post 111, 1150 Pine St in Louisville, the line up starts at 3:30 to 4:45 with The Lethal Lisa McCall Band, Jenn Cleary and Mad Dog from 5 to 6;15, Felonius Smith from 6:30 to 7:45, and closing the show, Willie Houston and the Junk Yard Dogs from 8 to 9:15 . $20 gets you all this music and dinner. Or $10 at the door if you don’t want to eat.

Theater Lovers: At the John Hand Theater, this weekend and next, you can catch the Agatha Christie Thriller, 'And Then There Were None", featuring RR member, Wade Livingston.

And if you love a good mystery.....I'll be performing with Till Death To Us Party Productions at the Boulderado Hotel in the classic thriller..."Murder 1941, Death Rides the Airwaves". This interactive mystery includes a sumptuous buffet. It will be performed Fridays, March 12, 19 & 26, 6:45 pm, call 303-440-2880 for reservations.  And for all your readers who are Niwotians, starring with me in this show is a NHS 2006 graduate, Nick Stockwell!

Plan Ahead: I gave Nick Stockwell a little extra plug because this young actor has ambitions! He has already started a theater company, called Devil's Thumb Productions, and they are putting up their first original play at the Dairy Center for the Arts, April 1 & 2. The play, 'Jack and Jill: A Romance' is a modern play about the trials and comedy inherent in dating. Tickets are $10. 303-444-7328.

Band of the week  video: I don't think I've ever featured Jason Ricci and the New Blood here, but the man sure has a great reputation in the blues world. Since he's in town for the The 2nd Annual Shipless Blues Cruise I figured it was time to give him a spot on this site. Enjoy!

Clothes of Note: Got in 3 pairs of Larry Mahon TALL cowgirl boots (size 8), some adorable polka dot Betsey Johnson heels (oops...they just walked out the door!), and a fantastic collection of men's Hawaiian shirts (XXL) and a men's full length black leather duster coat, and a genuine from down under Aussie outback hat.  Plus just tons of wonderful spring skirts, tops, blouses, sweaters and jackets...and PROM dresses..and spring purses and shoes. Be sure to check out today's slide show of all my favorites.
