Niwot Happenings:  Laurie Dameron is playing at Treppeda's Thursday night, after playing here last night for my 1st of 2 Pre-Valentine's Day Parties. Also on Thursday night, Manifest Art Gallery two doors down is having a new show open and reception, and on Sunday, 2:30 to 5 pm, I'll be having my 2nd of the Pre-Valentine's Day parties with: Free Champagne and Chocolate, Free Kiss Personality Tests with Tracey Grodsky-Dunn (Mary Kay Rep. Extraordinaire), FREE 5 minute foot rubs with Karen McMeans Sapienza, the Footlady herself. We'll be offering drawings for Gift Certificates as well!  Gift Certificates and gift ideas will be everywhere so bring your sweetie to give him (or her) ideas!!!

·         Thursday, Feb. 9th: Eef and the Blues Express are at the Outlook, Niwot's most famous musician, Pete Wernick is  at Nissi's, and a very special show at the Dicken's....Kenny Neal with Sammy Dee. These are two masterful guitarists specializing in Bluesiana styles Blues!

         

       · Friday, Feb. 10th:   Jockamo featuring Jill Watkins is at the Outlook, The Afronauts are at the Dicken’s Opera House,  the Long Run is at Nissi's, Quemando is at Oskar’s in Longmont, Jo Jo Reed Zydeco is at Oskar’s in Lyons,  Delta Sonics are at Lincoln's, Doc Brown Blues Band is at Ziggie’s,  

 

 

    ·        Saturday, Feb. 11th: Hazel Miller is at Nissi's , the Desciples are at the Dicken’s Opera House,  JP Soars and the Red Hots are at the Outlook, Delta Sonics are at Oskar's in Longmont, the Farewell Drifters are at Oskar's in Lyons, Reckless Red is at Lincoln's, & Bare Knuckle Blues Band is at Ziggie’s .  

 

 

 Clothes and pics of note:   I got in some incredible items this week, including some very cute Little Black dresses. One, a Victor Costa, is too small for any of us to model, but if you're a 0 to 2 petite, and need a HOT cocktail dress, come on out! I also got in a great collection of silk ties including several Jerry Garcia and Cocktail Collection. Really gorgeous ties. And there are pictures of the first Valentine's party here in the store.

                                           

Band of the Week Video:   Kenny Neal is considered one of the great blues guitarists and its an honor that he's playing in Longmont this weekend with Boulder's own Sammy Dee. Here is a taste of his style.
